These mixing plants operate using gas or fuel oil burners, and almost all of them are fitted with bag filters, whose performance levels have been improved in recent years to comply with increasingly strict standards, especially for plants located close to urban areas.
The choice of filtration media depends on the type of fuel used, the type of plant (continuous or intermittent operation), the presence or absence of recycled materials, the operating temperature and the specific physico-chemical conditions.
There are only a small number of constructors that have specialized in this market: ERMONT, AMMANN, MARINI, ANKERLOKKEN, SIM, LÜHR.
